My last board was a Gigabyte EX58-UD5 and I had real good luck with it .I have bought Gigabyte video cards in the past and had to send one back ,but had no problems ,but it has been a while back.I sent back a GTX-280 because the fan quit.I do not know how thier customer support is now.

I send only 1 motherboard for RMA in my life, an Asus Maximus III with a 2 defective RAM slot, they return me the board saying it was my CPU the problem, the board test ok, I must be very unlucky with my CPUs as the 3 CPUs I try on it get the same problem, So now this board run with RAM in single channel, the monkeys who answer me at Asus drain to much of my energy, it's not worth to insist anymore, I give it to my dad that only browse with a PC..... I ear only good thing from MSI RMA in Canada, so until I run into a problem with them I will purchase only their boards.

I've never had a problem with gigabyte boards. They don't normally overclock as well (unless you get one of their higher end boards) but I'm happy to use them for customers that don't care about over clocking. Very stable boards. I've never had much issue getting drivers from their site either.

Not something you can say for other board makers out there.

Never had a problem with a Gigabyte Motherboard. Now video cards on the other hand are another story. Its not that the card didn't do as advertised, it was their darn fans. Lots of failures, the most recent was a GTX580 super overclock. Three fan version. Two of the 3 fans failed. Lucky for IPR I now have a gtx670 eVga. I have another of those Gigabyte gtx580 SOC. At the moment the fans are spinning, but one is struggling, the middle one. Same as the previous card. I have an IPR on it as well, but I just bought it in August this year. I have had good luck with my eVga cards though.

Not one problem with ANY Gigabyte product. Just another vote for the OP to consider.

me and my dad both have owned evga mobos and they are nothing but problems, my 780i ftw was set back 4 times then i finally gave up and sold the whole computer to build a new one, and my dads x58 classified was sent back 3 time. my dad does overclock but i dont and the boards are clearly made for overclocking. i just ordered my first gigabyte product about a hour ago :P. and all the evga video cards have been set back at least once except for the 8800gts 640 we had a while back. so until i have delt with gigabyte evga will be the worst imo.

Never had a problem with my GA-EX58 UD5, until I broke the board by scraching some of the traces on the back
