Thanx for the review!

MMMMushkin :D

My fave RAM company.

I'm guessing you can't say what IC these use, but i'd bet heavily on Powerchips, instead of the D9GSV the older Mushkin 2x2 GB kits were using.
Ah yes, loose TRFC + no voltage scaling. Definitely Powerchips.

I do like Mushkin, but $175 is too high considering G.Skill's DDR2-1000 kit does the same kinda results for a lot less.

Going to have to agree, I think I'm going after the G.Skill soon, unless I can get my OCZ platnium to overclock to the 950MHz range.

+1 for Gskill ones. Gotta love the price, got me 2 kits. But the Mushkins are pretty.

$175 is just an estimate guys, will have to wait a week or two to see actual retail. The Mushkin guys watch all these threads tho and if people are saying it is too much maybe they will try and charge a lil less. :)

We'll Mushkin, if you're reading this, if you are more competitive with the Geil sticks I'll give you a try.

Do two kits of the Geil overclock well together?

Well I am running 2 kits of the G-skill 4GB 1000MHZ. I have not tried overclocking the RAM, but I am running my Quadcore at 3.2GHZ with 1600MHZ FSB no problem.

I forgot that these operated at 1GHz
I shouldn't worry about overclocking these, as long as I run a 1:1
