@Eldonko, Low Vdimm? They say 2.0-2.1V on them which I thought was pretty average. Are you running yours lower or are there higher running kits out there?

I run mine at 2.0v and that is pretty low TBH, I have a couple micron 4GB kits and they need at least 2.2v to get anything decent out of em.

I'm replying 8 months later but I just got a kit of Redline memory . I would never have paid 150-200$ for this, wow. It was around chrismas at 70$ - 20$ MIR on NCIX, thought it got back order for 3 weeks. My DFI DK P35 T2RS board doesn't seem to like OCZ Reaper 2x1Gb I had because even thought it was rated at DDR2-1150, I never been able to run them at 1066 or anything over no matter how much voltage to the NB and Memory I could give. Now since my E8400 is at (480 x 9 = 4320Mhz) my memory is only at DDR2-960 which is fine enough to me. So since I'll be stuck having them underclocked, I'll be now trying to get the best out of it so I was wondering if I should use 1.90v instead of the 1.98v I seen on a few other websites since you even been able to go as far as DDR2-1100 with such a low voltage, so me being underclocked it should be fine?

Gonna go back in the bios to see if I can set TRFC at 52 and TREF at 16383 while staying 5-5-5-12. Perhaps I could now lower my NB of 1.57v (real being 1.60v, default 1.30v). Nice review by the way.

Yep I have been happy with my set, running 1066 @ 5-5-5-12 2.01v, I do find they get fairly hot thought. When benching they hit 67.5c on my temp probe but they are not getting very good airflow right now, once my loop and spotcool goes back in it should come down some.

Wow that's a lot. I never thought this could be the hottest part in the computer, excluding the video card. Almost 68C on load at only 2.0v, after all I'm starting to see an advantage by running it at lower voltage as I previously thought when I had my OCZ memories that if it was certified and covered by warrenty up to 2.1v, that it was best to keep it at 2.1v no matter what so you could still be safe but that you would, in theory, gain more stability from the higher voltage. However it's like a blade with 2 sharp sides, more voltage means more stability up to a point that it gets too hot and becomes even less stable. So as I said in my previous post, I've settled at DDR2-960 5-5-5-12 1.90v

I've set manualy in the bios my TRFC at 52 since I'm using "5-5-5" as recommanded in the review but I couldn't see any "TREF" setting in my DFI bios. Anyway I doubt it would have changed anything, and perhaps the trfc on automatic was already at 52. I know MemSet can verify it but I almost never use it since this stupid program refuse to start if your Windows font is over the default 96PPP .

As for my NB voltage, seems like 1.45v is still stable so no more use to be as high as 1.57v (real value is +0.03v). I think my temperatures are quite good, as seen on the picture below. Having a Thermaltake Armor case with two 120mm intake, one 120mm + one 92mm for rear outtake, another 92mm on top outtake, 40mm on top of my NB and 250mm on my side pannel. It's quite funny that it's in fact as silent as the cheap micro-atx computer I've built for my aunt, which only have one 80mm fan inside, excluding cpu and psu fan.

Edit: Oh, if you can find the time to probe the temperature of ur ram while benching again but once you'll have ur spot cooler above them, I'd like to know the results just for curiosity purpose
