Default Logitech Di Novo Mini still the best Palm Keyboard !!

hi guys

I have tried many types of controller for my HTPC system but this one always comes out tops.

The Logitech Di Novo Mini Palm sized keyboard isn't without it's faults but is without question the best device for me to use with my Home Theatre PC whilst sitting lazily on my livingroom sofa.

I have done a video review for this device for information purposes only, some good points and some bad.

YouTube - Logitech Di Novo Mini Palm Keyboard Review

Worth having a quick look if considering one of these devices
Also would be great to let me know about your experiences with these mini keyboards

Thank you very much guys !!

Unfortunately I have also found it to be the best after I sold it to try other devices. Although it is far from being a great keyboard.

This is the one I'd like to try:
ThinkGeek :: ProMini Wireless Keyboard with Trackpad

But otherwise, if it's no good, then I'll probably get the DiNovo mini too. lol

I can't see the review at work.. I had one with my HTPC, and I think it's an absolutely terrible keyboard to type on. You can only use your thumbs.. at which point, it might as well be a blackberry. But a blackberry has better keys because they are raised more. Holding down the shift and all of that.. wasn't very fluid to type on.

I would hate to try to play a game on it. It's far too expensive and the battery charge dies faster and faster after a while.. if you use it as often as I did. At least it's rechargeable tho.

I have that one for my HTPC and its not bad , However I do find the mouse pad a bit jumpy and really sensative to tapping (opens things unexpectadly).
I also find the connection to the wireless reciever can be flakey (laser pointer is cool though)

You have the RF version then? I was hoping to get the bluetooth version... Can you offer more impressions?

I have the Di Novo Mini and I find its frustrating.
I need the dongle plugged in the front panel because its out of range if In plugged in on back. Its also clumsy to type on, I still use a real keyboard and mouse if I want to do something fast.

Mine is the same one you linked to, 2.4 ghz wireless, all in all I like the unit ,I played with the di novo at a store and thought it was way too much money for what you got so I saw pro mini at NCIX on sale for $54.99 and bought it. I'm 98% happy . The back light keyboard is very nice and is not bad at all typing on it . It works very well for what it is and what I wanted for a mini keyboard to control my HTPC (win7) combined with my Harmony One its a good setup
