The only problem I have is the time it's taking.I originaly bought the system on April 2nd and it only took about 7 days for delivery. The replacement was ordered on May 7th and according to Dell,it is still in production and should be shipped the third week of June. That really pisses me off.Oh well,I guess there is not much I can do about it.If it is upgraded [as indicated at Dell Order Status] I would really have nothing to complain about. That same rig configured the way Dell is shipping mine would cost $1400 more, not including taxes. Good deal.

It's here! Got it totally unexpected. It appears from the packing slip, that Dell did indeed upgrade the PC. I am waiting for Killswitch to come over and give me a hand again.Just unboxing that thing is a real chore.Dell has been very very good to me.

I can vouch that un-boxing and moving this thing is a chore. I thought i was going to give my self a hernia when i went to move it to put it on my desk :)

Maybe we should start an Alienware club of some sort. You know, where Alienware owners or potential buyers can communicate and exchange info specific to Alienware. If that is even allowed here. What do you think?

Smile Alienware Alx

It may only be a club of 2, but there are a few more of us who would like one of those as well. Like I stated before, I love the case. The light system is a plus as well as the louvered roof fins. I really like that combo!!!

Yup! Paying more money but getting a good warranty worked for me. I could not wait for Killswitch to help with set up etc.so me and my wife did it.Sure enough Dell upgraded to the 980 Extreme, factory O>C to 4ghz and a 600GB Raid 0 [2x300GB] drive.I don't know what the raid set up means or why it says 2x300gb. When I click on Computer in the start menu, it shows 'Hard Disk Drives 1' but there are two seperate drives in the computer. Oh well,I'll figure it all out. That's half the fun.Have a good day everybody, I am.
