| Test Subject: EVGA 7900 GT CO Reason: Stock cooler sounded like a jet engine on full speed Stock 7900 GT CO: ![]() Bare Ass 7900 GT CO: ![]() Ram Heatsink #1: ![]() Ram Heatsink #2: ![]() Heatsink on card #1: ![]() Temps with stock cooler were usually around 55' celcius idle and would go upwards of 65' celcius or higher. After installing heatsink card now idles around 41' celcius and during ATI Tool Arifact tool it climbs to about 51' celcius and stays put! OOOH and no more jetplane. For those who are curious if you wish you could mount a 120mm fan to the heatsink by whatever means you necessary or you could mount two 92mm fans as well. I currently have one installed but could put another if I wanted. There is an optional kit for that that will put proper fans onto it that works properly but hey! I prefer things difficult. Pros: - Super Easy Install - Relatively inexpensive - Ram heatsinks apply well Cons: - Plastic brackets to keep cooler off card can be a bit of a pain - PCI-E connector difficult to remove once plugged in - Instructions a tad confusing |

| No I think from start till end it was probably about 10 minutes if that. The plastic legs was the hardest part. |
