TRUE Copper is the best heatsink ATM. With one condition though: extreme TDP and CFM.
For a good OC is close to others but for a insane OC is in front of others.

TRUE Copper is only like 1 degree better and it weighs alot more. Unless you have super highcfm fans and are super overclocked which no one would do on aior since It would be like a jet. Mega beats it at everything except super high which could even be a mistake. Also remember TRUEs must be lapped to preform well and the copper weighs like twice as much as a mega. Mega FTW

Yes.

I've read that review .

I love [H] ,but they got sold a bill of goods........Just like the rest of us . Purposely convex'd surface BS !

I have photographic proof too.

This review has dropped to 8.5 / 10

Nice try Thermalright.I still love yah , but cmon , yah gotta get up ealier than that to fool me.

I'l preface this by saying lapping this beast is not easy ! I need thicker glass !

Lapping in progress , 400 grit ;

Please note the non-uniform wear pattern , and the discoloration in the center.

-----

Lapping further on.........non-uniform wear continues.......

----------

There is a further defect :

This photo is deleberately out out focus with harsh flash .

There is a vertical 'crimp ' mark resulting from compressive deformation where the middle two heatpipes intersect the block.....An obvious result from hydraulic forming.

This combined with the obvious ''spot welding" marks make me call BS !!

----

8.5 outta 10.....Lapping continues.

Haha , I'd love to.

It would'nt cost me the ~300 $ per square foot to build a custom copper case.

Dammit.

Ugh...

Did not enjoy lapping my non-copper one at all.

I have actually done one test with this thing.

I set it up with a 226W peltier.The peltier ran @ 144 watts.

With a panaflow FBA12g12u1c fan (114 cfm) running full bore , it ran at 8 deg C above ambient (21C).

Considering the wattage of that test I'd say it'll cool any processor out there really well !
