Yeah, the price is the main reason I'm so curious about the keyswitch. I could never justify spending that kind of money on a gaming keyboard unless it was also Das Keyboard tier everyday typing good.

Nice review. It's a neat keyboard, but it saddens me that Logitech decided against mechanical key switches for such a "high-end" keyboard. Makes no sense.

The LCDSirReal applet for the G15 is the only thing I use. Apparently there is a compatability mode for the G19? But SirReal is already hard at work for a G19-exclusive app that will allow programmers to add modules to his app.

By the way, nice review! It filled me in on a lot of things that I'd like to know that aren't advertised.

Thank you so much for this review by the way. I am going to do a writeup for MX5500 just to let people compare this thing to it, as Toronto122 mentioned it.

This is definitely an envy item. Mad props for this.

By the way, do you have a writeup for the HP 30 incher?

I am personally going to stick with the G15. The G19 is way too expensive! I would never pay $200 for a keyboard!
