Sucks that anyone really has to worry about that kind of BS.

"Oh, great. Can't leave me stuff alone because that hyperactive little fidgety monkey of a teenager is looking at it funny."

Makes me want to stab someone...

Excellent review.

I just updated from the older G15 to the updated G15. Good use of pictures - and I like the obvious (yet essential) comments regarding how it feels while typing. Having just spent some money I'm kind of glad to hear that it hasn't hit the stores yet. :) Something to buy a year from now I guess.

Now that I'm calm enough to make coherent sentences... I'm assuming if you got the G19 you have contact with Logitech about it. If you do, could you please ask them what type of keyswitch they use in the G19? I noticed you said they go thunk thunk and the tactile resistance is good; if it's mechanical keyswitch, I maaay be able to justify splurging on this to myself.

Oh who am I kidding, if this thing turns out to be mechanical I just might sell a kidney!

Thanks for the well written review of the G19. This is indeed the next keyboard that I will be buying. I like many here I'm currently using the G15 and I love it. I'm a big fan of Logitech, they pump out great products and I own a fair selection and I'm happy with everyting. Well there was one product they put put out that I was less then happy with. The G7 cordless laser gaming mouse. I could never get it to work properly, spent many hours with tech support, they even sent me a replacement mouse TWICE! When the second mouse fared no better they sent me their brand spanking new G9 laser mouse! Talk about customer service, this is why I am a die hard Logitech fan, because I know if it doesn't work right they'll make it right!

BTW I LOVE THE PURPLE! But I ain't buying it until it comes down a bit in price. I'm sure NCIX or Direct Canada will have special debut price for the keyboard.

WHAT??? You didn't like the G7??? I looked high and low for one. Finally picked one up off CL for $40!! I love this mouse for gaming. IMO it's the best wireless mouse out there (including the dreaded MX Revolution which had the sort stuttering issues ever!)

This keyboard gets better and better. I hope they release some software that allows you to change background colors etc on the stock pages.
