2011 Mac Mini
 
I am considering getting a mac mini for the following uses.

Lightroom
Video Editing (most home videos)
Checking Email
Listening Music

No Gaming.

Will be connecting it to a 27" monitor if that matters. I was thinking of the one with the dedicated 6630 graphics chip.

sorry forgot to the pose the question. I guess the question is will the mac mini suffice for my needs.

If you like/need current versions of Mac OS&and apps that run on it then I suppose so. Just make sure it has a 7200RPM HDD and a good amount of RAM.

Even an older one would be more than enough for that ...

I have a late 2009 version with 4GB ram and 640GB hdd 7200 rpm if you are interested ... looking to replace with a Macbook ...
