Default What do I need to do with a new MBP with SSD?

I know that SL doesn't support TRIM so do I need to make sure defrag and other potentially detrimental apps are not running?

There is an TRIM hack out there to get TRIM working. Although there has been complaints about it causing unresponsiveness. Otherwise, no, there is nothing you need to do.

Snow Leopard will work just fine without doing anything to it. Lion will be released soon for a very cheap price via the AppStore and will fully support trim, for those that "must have" it.

Well Lion doesn't bring TRIM standard. Still only to Apple branded SSD's. On another note, I've been running the TRIM Enabler 1.1 on my iMac for about a month now and it has been working flawlessly. Not a single beachball or kernel panic yet.
