Zotac GTX 560 TI 448 or GIGABYTE HD7850 Which one is better : Zotac GTX 560 TI 448 or GIGABYTE HD7850 (oc to 975mhz) ? |
Definitely the HD 7850 ( OC'd to 975mhz) would be a better choice because it has the new 28nm architecture, its powerfull (compared to GTX560 TI) n stuff ( 2GB RAM and consumes less power ) Check this site out for more performance comparisons... GTX 570, cheaper and better then above mentioned cards, or the dreaded GTX 480, everyone forgets him but you HAVE to still respect the power it produces(not upgrading any time soon from mine@1080P resolution) |
I need an exact answer which is better ... I don't need any other suggestions ... Just tell me which one is better : Zotac GTX 560 TI 448 or GIGABYTE HD7850 (oc to 975mhz) ? And why it is better ? That's all I want to know . |
Video Card Comparison - GPUReview.com Here is some links. Nvidia & Amd owners will of course prefer their own brand. Do lots of research, buy one & be happy. |
It's not a simple answer. At 1920x1200 resolution the GTX560Ti 448 is faster than the 7850 in most games (including BF3). At 2560x1600 resolution the 7850 is either faster than the 560Ti 448 or closes the gap. All settings at Ultra. http://images.hardwarecanucks.com/im.../HD7870-32.jpg http://images.hardwarecanucks.com/im.../HD7870-34.jpg The 7850 will use almost 100 watts less under load than the GTX560Ti 448. The 7850 sells for $260 average, while the 560Ti 448 sells for $315 average. SO, you want pure performance, go for the GTX560Ti 448. However, the 7850 will give you 95% of the performance for 80% of the price, while consuming less power. For that reason, my vote is for the 7850, as it seems to be better bang for the buck. If you can find the GTX560Ti 448 for less than $280 though, then that would be the better deal. |
Agree with others. There are other factors to consider (like cost), but to answer your question simply 7850>560Ti 448core. |
7850 is better yes, but after my headaches with 5870's/6970's I am done with the red team for good. |
Thanks guys :) |
Go for the 7850 only if you dont plan on adding a second. Stay away from crossfire. |
