Lightbulb DDR3 ram CL9 vs CL10

I want minimum of 24 gb of ram (video editing, gaming, modeling)

Problem is that no z77 motherboard has 8 slots for ram.

I found Corsair vengeance ddr3 8gb one peace but it has timing CL10

Is CL9 much better than CL10 ???

Thank you
