Case Case Which Case!! response would be great. Hello All looking to buy a new gaming case but proving to be difficult (thought it would be the easiest) the chunkiest think in the case apart from the psu will be a 7950. It may just be my noob ignorence but nonef the cases (between £80 - £150) dont appear to have all the fans you would expect (again im a noob) I am looking to have a balance of neg and pos air flow, in and out. Basically looking for advise on case purchase. i will be using a corsair H100 for cpu cooling. Main components in the case: asus sabertooth z77 i7 2600k/2700k (2nd gen) 850w psu amd 7950 vengance ram 16gb |
so a Corsair Carbide 500R wouldn't cut the mustard? compatibility ot of the box with your cooler, dust filter for the PSU on the bottom, nice space in the back panel for routing cables |
NZXT Switch 810 Full Tower Case White : CA-SW810-W1: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories Switch 810 is a amazing case, but it's a bit out of you're range 5 pounds. Linus did a unboxing too NZXT Switch 810 Full Tower Gaming Case Unboxing & First Look Linus Tech Tips - YouTube yeah but a 500R or even a 400R will do it if you want to go even cheaper. |

Im just about to purchase the fractal design define r4 pearl black window and i think it is an awesome case |
Coarsair 600 Coarsair 600 would not work with H100. I have the same case and had bought the cooler. The cooler gets in the way of the VRM and memory slots on an ATX board. In the end I fitted the radiator inside the case and the fans on the outside. They are a little thick for the top mesh filter, but the filter does close down. If you find a case that can support the H100 (enough height at the top of the case) then it should handle everything else. |
You can't go wrong with a Corsair case. Any of them should suit your needs since they are not very specific. I'd go with whichever one fits best in your wallet and looks best to you! Also Fractal Design are of top notch quality and I agree with the fellow that suggested Switch 810. It's my favorite! |
It's a mid tower, but fractal design arc midi, good airflow, and fits a h100 out of the box. |
