Linus sleeving Qus

what size sleeving did you use in this video and what what would be a good size to do single wire sleeving?: Personal Rig Update 2012 Part 6 - Cable Sleeving Showcase & Guide Linus Tech Tips - YouTube

If you watch the video carefully, you can pick up the link that Linus mentionned,as he said he's lazy to do it the REAL HARDCORE way,but as he mentionned there's a thread where you can find a lot of instructions about cable sleeving and you can even debate on that if the forum is actually still active :)

when you go to that forum it takes you to to Mdpc-x and it does not tell you what size sleeving it is and what want to see what size linus used.

PerryC March 16, 2012 03:46 PM

I believe the small sleeving used is 1/8" sleeve

newCOmpuTerguy March 16, 2012 03:55 PM

1/8" is too big. It will look sloppy. 1/16" if you are going w/ a sleeving that has a 3x3 weave.

PerryC March 16, 2012 04:41 PM

He did say he is using slightly larger sleeve, which means that Linus likely used 1/4" sleeve. Doesn't look big enough in the video to be 3/8" or 1/2" sleeve.

I am just guessing by what is available in most of the kit packages available. Haven't lloked too much at sleeving yet, but it is something I want to do in the future.
