Gtx 460 SLI vs 1 Gtx 560ti

I just bought an i5-2500k oc'd at 4.5. I'm looking to buy a graphics card solution for under $300. What would be the best performing for the price? I was thinking about going with a single GTX 560 ti. Or Dual GTX 460's in SLI. Any other suggestions are welcome.

for 300$ I would look for a GTX570 (used) or go with a 560 Ti 448.

I'd go with the single 560Ti over the 460 SLI. Something like The twin frozer from msi would be a good choice. For a few dollars more you could get a 570 or radeon 6970. Don't forget pricematching or buy used to save a few dollars.

New GTX 480's are under $300, or a used 570.

I think Im either going to go with a GTX 560 or HD 6950. Which would be better for running Battlfield 3?

Yep. When paired with a 2500k, the 560ti gets smooth framerate on High at 1080p!

in the card to card comparaison AMD cards so scale better in Battlefield 3 than NVIDIA,for more few bucks you can do Dual HD 7770,and this will provide a smooth 50-60FPS 1080p on ULTRA,simply astouding!
