The thing is too, that Apple needed to launch something, they already broke their yearly schedule, but the iPhone 4, on paper, is still a real high end phone. Cash grab perhaps, but not entirely unexpected from a marketing standpoint

How is this so great? Do you really think a 1080P cell phone video will look any different from one shot in 720P? The operative words here are "CELL PHONE VIDEO". As for the video stabilization; it is done through software rather than hardware so it isn't any different from the various apps like Video Stiller which do the exact same thing for the standard iPhone 4.

The advertisement on the apple webpage says: It might be the best camera ever on a phone

So I guess the 8 megapixel, LED flash and no name lense beats the Nokia N8's 12 megapixel, xenon flash, Carl Zeiss lense.

Yeah, I guess it "might" be.
