Question iPhone 3GS 32GB Product Replacement
Hey Everybody,

I sent in my iPhone 3GS 32GB just a while ago as it had multiple issues. On the repair status page it says the issue has been identified and product replacement pending. The iPhone 3GS 32GB model has been discontinued. Will they send me an iPhone 4 32GB or an iPhone 3GS 32GB? Thanks.

yes, they will most likely give you a refurbished 3GS. That's what they did with my 2nd gen ipod touch when I took it in for warranty replacement. They had none for sale left on their site, but they still have a bunch on hand for warranty claims.

They will give you a refreshed 3GS as apple puts it.

I have a customer that has replaced his Iphone4 7 times, he lucked out the last time and got a factory unlocked one. GL!!
