iOS 4 due out today

So Apple actually released iOS4 on time (10am PST), the direct download links are provided below for those who want to do it that way. The build number is identical to the GM Candidate minus Game Center as that is still in development and was only in the GM for developers to start working with it. I'm not sure where the features list is (And what is excluded specifically from the 3G aside from multitasking and home screen wallpapers); and of course as you can expect the iPhone 2G is outright not supported.

iPhone 3GS
iPhone 4

iOS 4 will not be released until the fall for iPad users. Sorry guys!

Untill there is a jailbreak for the new OS4 i won't be upgrading any time soon. I upgraded to the OS3 by accident and had to wait forever.

Depends what phone you have. I'm on iOS4 JBd right now on my 3G; DevTeam is expected to release something later today.

Yup. Done and done. *slaps the that was easy button*.

Id also like to thumb my nose at rogers. I broke my contract today to get away from those robbers. Bell is no better. For now, I'll just use skype over wifi on my home network until I find a real carrier in Canada...I'm not holding my breath.

Now to deal with SBSettings that was apparently updated for iOS4, but is conspicuously busted still :angry2:

guess am outa date...I've been using the 3.1.3 jailbreak and haven't read much about the OS4. might just have to read on.

SBSettings alone is enough reason to jail brake.

Unfortunately, it's busted right now, hopefully they will have a fix out soon. Only loads on the GM Candidate, not the release.:blarg:

redsn0w is out on devblogs main page now. Its a beta, but I can confirm it working.
