Default Thoughts on HTPC build

Hi guys,

I'm putting together a HTPC and I could really use some feedback. Price range is $400-600.

CPU: Intel Core i3-3225 Hyperthreading
Mobo: Gigabyte B75M-D3H mATX
Case: NZXT Vulcan mATX Mini Tower
Memory: G. Skill Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL
Storage: Crucial M500 CT120M500SSD1 120GB SATA 3
PSU: XFX PRO500W Core Edition
Blu-Ray: Asus Internal OEM

I'm going to rely on the onboard HD4000 graphics instead of getting a separate GPU. Is this acceptable given that I won't be playing any games on this rig? The only thing that I'll need it to do is to play blu-ray movies + 1080p MKV files and to output them via HDMI to my Sony Receiver, which is connected to my Sony 40" LCD. However, I do need it to do this flawlessly.

I currently already have a Transformer Infinity that has micro HDMI. However, disappointingly, I found out that while it can play 1080p videos over HDMI quite well, it won't output the subtitles since it is on a software layer that isn't transmitted. This is why I'm building a HTPC instead, but I need to know that the PC will be able to transmit subtitles over HDMI if I use a player like MPC-HC.

Thanks!!!

NOTE: I may end up NOT getting the RAM since I just found four sticks of DDR3 lying around my house. They're G. Skill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL. I've got two of these giving me 8GB ram. I'm pretty sure they'll work with the new mobo, also...

Still need feedback on the rest though.

I have used igp from I tel for many kinds of playback and had no issues. I have used a i3 3220 to i7 4770k with no problems. The Intel NUC platform uses nothing but igp and they seem to be doing pretty well in the living room so far :) I also have used the b85 chipset with no issues too.

No idea about the psu, but everything else seems Ok to me :-)
