Default Windows XP DLNA serving?

I've run into an issue with the way XP sorts music titles for external device use and I'm wondering if anybody has run into the same issue and knows of a quick fix....

Basically, all of my audio files are ripped using track number in the name so that they stay in proper order even when playing from a usb stick into my car audio (I have to use a program like drivesort to physically order them on the usb disk for this to work).

This has also worked fine when it came to win7 being used as a DLNA server for audio files on my networked Onkyo HT amp, however under XP the files are being served to the AMP sorted alphabetically as opposed by track number. I've looked through all of the XP settings and couldn't find anything that looked like it would solve the problem.

Any suggestions that would work under XP? I'm wondering if a third party media player like winamp might do the trick............

Just going to res this thread on the off chance somebody else runs into a similar issue....

So far I've come across this under XP, win7, and win8. Initially win7 media streaming (external device pulling) sorted properly, but I've got a strange feeling Microsoft changed something and now I can't seem to get any MS OS to order files according to track as opposed to alphabetically when I view the files on the DLNA application of my onkyo receiver.

Third party programs seem to do the trick and I'm currently running both XBMC & Foobar2000 with success. I haven't played too much with Foobar yet, but it appears to be able to transcode formats which in the case of my onkyo would be beneficial since it apparently won't play Flac encoded audio files streamed over the network (it'll play the same files off of a USB stick though so it's not a matter of the actual format, just the delivery method).

Just a quick update WRT foobar2000 functionality.....

It does indeed transcode my audio files into something usable by the onkyo amp so that I don't need to keep my flac encoded media library separate from the one available over the network (I initially had a local xbmc library w/ flac, and a dlna one with only mp3). Not the prettiest interface I've ever seen, but it seems to work well and it doesn't seem to take up much in the way of resources.
