Amazing system. Overkill to the max for a HTPC but a sweet friggin' gaming system too. Very nice. I built mine specifically for HTPC use, now I wish I added a bit more bang in there for more gaming ability.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. I would like a compact keyboard but still be able to use it for FPS games. I seen that Logitech has the K810 and MS has one called Wedge Mobile. As for remote I want a Harmony. The Touch is really nice but I would still need some type of IR receiver I think for it to work with the HTPC.

Was the blu-ray face plate changed to the lian li cover to match?

No. The Lian Li comes with the fold out cover. The player just slides out and pushes the cover open.

I'm looking at building something very similar, my focus is large mkv files and Web streaming, I'm in the dark as to what software/OS iI should be using?

FYI I don't see anything overkill about your build, you've built it to last you a while and take anything you might want to throw at it
