Default Ultimate HTPC Software Guide (XBMC,MPC-HC, bitstreaming, ripping blurays)

1.Ripping. Updated streamlined version of ripping. Includes bitstreaming, multiple audio tracks, and subtitles.

2.MPC-HC.
Bitstreaming, h.264, and FLAC playback.

3.Re-encoding.

4. Guide to using XBMC.

Old version of ripping (includes FLAC)

May 7, 2010. Edited Playback section for better codecs/software.

It should work with any OS, as all the applications are rather simple apps. Although when installing Arcsoft TMT, Vista and Win7 likely will say it is incompatible. However since we don't actually have to run the software, this isn't a big deal.

Well since I've added no compression at all, they are still big. Some movies, like Braveheart are 38GB. But on average I'd say around 15-20GB.
