HTPC case

Hi Guys, I recently purchased a Nmedia 1000B. It is a great case and I would love to use it but it is too deep for the bookshelf that I need to place it on. Does anybody know of a HTPC case that is not so deep? I don't mind if it is taller but I need something about 4 inches shorter at least. Any ideas? Thanks

Thank you Mr. Obvious! If I had found one when I looked on my own I wouldn't have bothered asking. Since I already looked and couldn't find one 12 inches deep I decided to ask the forum for help, hoping somebody specifically knew of one.

Anybody else?

I think you'll have tough luck finding one that much shallower in depth. The mATX standard depth is 9.6". To have a 12" deep case you'd have to hang the drives way over the mobo, probably interfering with the HSF.

I'm going hunting for you though, will report back. It might be easier to replace the bookcase.

I did a bunch of measuring and draft install on my Nmedia case and i think I can cut it down to 12inches and still fit everything in (with the HDD cages overtop of the mobo). I am still hoping for a off the self option but if that fails then I will be cutting up my brand new case. The book shelf is the only option in the space so I can't change that.
