It depends on the software. With the BeyondTV 4.9 they added a feature call Placeshifting which you can watch TV in a web browser in any computer on the same network.

It depends on the software. With the BeyondTV 4.9 they added a feature call Placeshifting which you can watch TV in a web browser in any computer on the same network.
I presume you could setup VPN or VNC or Remote Desktop or something to get you access into your home network and then watch like that. Though don't expect 60FPS or even 30FPS video unless you have a really high upload speed.
