Default GFX card for an Antec Minuet

one question: What is the best ATI PCI-E card i can cram into a tiny Antec Minuet case for an HTPC? It has to be able to output through standard component (six cable) to my TV.

Perhaps the HD4550 or the HD4350?

I'm not knowledgeable on either of those cards, but one thing i forgot to mention: It's not a necessity, but i'd prefer it if the card came with a silent (passive) cooling solution, to keep noise down to a minimum (i'm not really a Noise Nazi on most occasions, but i'd like a low noise profile to go with the low size profile)

one particular card i was surveying was the Asus EAH3650 SilentMagic 512mb DDR2 PCIE. Would it fit in the Antec Minuet? Remember, i dont need the card to do anything but at least be HDCP compliant, and output through component. Thanks for the help though!

I'd go with the 4000 series since they have the latest AVIVO HD and UVD.

The HD4350 are passive and low-profile such as this one:
Newegg.ca - SAPPHIRE 100264L Radeon HD 4350 512MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

The SlientMagic HD3650 is definitely not low-profile. That's a full size card so I'm not sure if it would fit or not.

i need to revive this thread. I have began, again, looking for a low-profile card to fit in the Antec minuet case. The expansion slots are half-size of normal ones.

one card i was indeed looking at was the Sapphire HD4550 512M GDDR3 (LP) PCI-E card.

It says low profile, but I have no idea what will fit in the tiny Minuet case.

If it says Low Profile and comes with the low profile PCI bracket thing, should be fine.

I was reading around on the interwebs, and apparently this card is also usually half-size; as i read about a test build with this card in the case:
Asus EAH3450/HTP 512mb DDR2 PCI-E

I can confirm that the Asus EAH3450/HTP 512mb DDR2 PCI-E does fit in a Antec Minuet. But the only problem is it does not come with a low profile bracket. I had to buy a set of them. I do have some extra if anyone wants one.

How is it possible to remove the full-size bracket and put on a half size bracket? or am I reading your post wrong?

The expansion slots in the Antec Minuet 300 (the specific model I have) are half the size of normal expansion slots.

Yes, normally the bracket is only held on by the nut things that you screw the cable into. So, all you have to do to remove the bracket is unscrew those nuts. You can use a special tool of some sort, i forget what it's called, but pliers work perfectly fine.
