I don't think this is an issue, as i Fold with an HD4850 and a 9800GTX+..both with non-WHQL drivers....no problems.

I think it is a combination of pre-release drivers coupled with it being a pre-release card. I finally popped in a HD3850 this morning so we will see if it works with the 8.8 drivers.

SKYMTL, FYI, I fold with the 8.8 drivers. It's probably an unrecognized GPU causing your issues.

Folding with the 8.8 now. No problem at all except the ATI card is slow as hell.

Trying to get the CPU one up and running now and it seems to be going ok.
