Welcome to the team !!!

1. To get the most amount of PPD only Overclock your Shaders the Memory and Core clock do not seem to give you a higher PPD. ( Energy Saving Tip)

2. (Testing) Cpu core clock does not affect PPD either currently have my cpu downclocked to 1.7 ghz using the Asus Epu-6 Engine software.
Personally i like the software but i would have liked if there was more control of the voltages for the Cpu,Nb as using the turbo mode limits you to depending how high you have left your cpu voltage in your bios. ( Energy Saving Tip)

Overclock your Shaders to the max and btw turn off ce1 support if your cpu automatically downclocks as that effects ppd.

You should get around 6000ppd you can see this by downloading Fahmon.

Glad to have you on the Team. For an explanation of Folding see Folding@home - Main .

We all have our own reasons for Folding. The points we get make it into a friendly competition but are not why we Fold, they are just an added bonus.
You can check our Team and user stats at Hardware Canucks Forum - Team Summary - EXTREME Overclocking Folding @ Home Stats

According to Flecom at [H] the 'Folding Whine' is caused by the voltage regulator's. Check this GPU client generates high pitched whine from 8800GTX - [H]ard|Forum for info...

Hm my 9800GTX is not emitting any noises...
The only high pitch sound is my IDE HD.
Anyways so i just fire up F@H and just leave it right?
I downloaded the GPU client off the official site.
