And then I'll replace one of my GTX280s by my shelved HD4870...

I only have it for the next month or so - a pal of mine bought it, but he won't do the final assembly of his rig until he comes back from his assignment.

From a quick read of that thread the ATi PPD's might be skyrocketing past 7000 in the next couple of months, you might want to offer him a ' lightly ' used 280 instead...

Can someone link me to a a How To about setting up a monitoring program like FAHMON to monitor the GPU2 client in VIsta x64. I just got some killer entry-level ATI cards and I want to add F@H benches to the reviews.

Personally I use Folding Forum • View topic - FahSpy (monitoring tool) as it is is really easy to set up and use. There is no installation, just run the exe. after reading the readme file...

How does that differ from FAHMON?

I like the layout better and being able to check the logfile, everything at a glance. Tried Fahmon twice with no luck..

FaMon is easy to setup.

Where ever you install the GPU2 program will have a "work" folder once you start folding.

Right click in the white space and choose "Add New Client" and then point it to the GPU2 folder not the work folder.

Then you'll want to download new projects.
Menu -> FahMon -> Download New Projects

You may have to finish 1 or 2% before you'll show anything.

Personally I tried FahSpy but its useless on a non-widescreen monitor

FahMon has the ability to show you the log files too.
