I got almost the same setup as yea at 3.0ghz since the gpu2 client i use is more of a gpu intensive application it only uses 1 core so i still have my other core free. I do it because i feel like it and its for a good cause.

Of course you should Fold for us, and your system will do great...

You can set the priority so it runs in the background or only when your system is idle, or just stop it if it impacts performance while gaming. Mine runs 24/7, both the GPU and SMP/CPU clients at 98% usage,and I don't notice it...

Why do I Fold?. Well, its challenging, its addictive, its for a good cause, it gives my system something to do while I work long hours, also I lost my Dad when his cancer came back and he already had alzheimers...

I Fold because i lost a good friend to cancer whom was a folder here too. I fold to remember him every single day.
