It looks like I have a few completed WUs showing up (under this same username) in Rosetta and FAH. I hope to break 30K FAH points in a week or so, as I just set up my T7500 laptop as a 24/7 SMP on Linux.

May I have a tag? Only found out about it today :)
Thanks

I've read the linux SMP client with the A2 core yields a much higher PPD than the windows client, please keep us updated on how it goes...

I'm getting a constant ~2000 PPD on my laptop with the Linux SMP folding (FahCore_a2). The laptop is configured as follows:
Dell Inspiron 1420 running Ubuntu 8.04 x64
Intel C2D T7500 (2.2 Ghz, 4 MB Cache, 800FSB)
4 GB PC2-5400 (it's a laptop so obviously the slower JDEC timings)

I'm pretty sure the chipset is the mobile 965GM but I don't have a CPU-Z screenshot handy.
nVidia 8400M GS

By comparison, I tried the Windows SMP client (the one that works on Vista x64) on a similarly configured desktop, resulting in around half the PPD, so 900-1000. That desktop is no longer folding.
Intel C2D E6400 (2.13 GHz, 2 MB cache, 1066 FSB)
4 GB cheap PC2-4200
Intel 965 chipset

This is what the log looks like, to show % times. On Linux.

Thats impressive, your C2D laptop is folding a SMP WU about as fast as one of my quads !!!. Thats assuming your 2675 WU is the same size as the windows 2665 WU worth 1920 pts, if I get one of the 2653 WU's [1760pts]the ppd goes up to ~2750.
Guess one of my new years resolutions is going to be to learn that Linux stuff...
Thanks alot for the info...

Rosetta, or FAH? Are you using the same username?

I'll keep my eyes open on the stats lists and as soon as I see your name pop up I'll drop a PM to Gav. (Sometimes it takes a few days for the switch to get thrown).

Welcome to the team!!!!
