As far as I understand it I am now on your team and folding away.

I've been building this comp for 6 months and finally have it done, overclocked and stable. All along I'd planned on folding but never got around to it and once I saw this client and how easy it is to install and configure I jumped aboard, plus you guys look like you could use another teamate. I'm numero 13, my lucky number.

As I said I'm completely new to this so if you all have anything specific I should know for this team please pass it on. I will research all this more in the next few days.

Here is the gear I have working for us;
E8400 OC to 3.8GHz (8x475)
4GB mem at 950 MHz (1:1)
Running on Vista64

It's not a quad but it's what I got.

What project are we working on BTW? Right now I'm doing Rosseta @ Home but haven't looked into any of this at all. I just downloaded, installed, picked a project, and joined this team.

I work midnights and am going to bed now but will check this thread later tonight or tomorrow morning so don't be suprised if I don't answer till then.

AFAIK all we're folding with Boinc at the moment is rosetta.

Looks like our team is now #2 in Canada, looking from the average credit: Team search results



Though there's a huge gap with #1 :(.

I look at it like this:

We're currently #580 in the world for total credit out of 7,071 teams. So in 2 months we've passed 6491 teams.

Our average credit is even better. We're #81.

I just joined the HWC team and i'm in 3rd place now. Haha i cheated - I'm not new to BOINC as I've been doing SETI@Home since 2001. I was indie for Rosetta but have been doing it on and off for awhile - so there's my contribution. I'll get back into it .... starting now.
