J/K, please don't join SETI. I'm wearing my tinfoil hat and underwear in my tin foil wallpapered room:help: trying to hide from those little grey, butt probing freaks and whole teams of people are actually trying to get their attention!

Just say no to SETI!!!!!

Weird mood today, just ignore me. Except the welcome teamates part.
Thanks for the welcome FreqE1. I'm not in the forums very regularly when I'm working, but it leaves a lot of time for my computer to fold instead of them being home alone with nothing to do.

Not sure if this has come up before but I can't seem to find anything on it... what is claimed credit and granted credit?

Now for the most part it seems granted credit is higher then claimed credit... but I have a slow computer folding... and its getting a lower granted credit then claimed one... so I'm just curious what the two are.

You're welcome, thanks for joining up. Yup, got to keep them busy otherwise they get up to no good and start playing War Games and we've all seen that movie.

@Jon. I assumed that you are granted bonus points for getting each task done quickly but I don't know how it is calculated. I was getting higher granted credit until the other day and because of the lower credits I found out my overclock got killed by a power outage. Must get UPS.

Just saw this today (kinda late):

July 17, 2008
GPU computing has arrived to BOINC! The GPUGRID.net project from the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB) uses CUDA-capable NVIDIA chips to create an infrastructure for biomolecular simulations. (Currently available for Linux64; other platforms to follow soon. To participate, follow the instructions on the web site).

According to a BOINC project admin, the upcoming version 6.4 will have full support for GPU and Cell computing. But at this time, even v6.2 and v6.3 are still in development stages.

Anybody know if the Rosetta servers are down and out?

Neither of my clients are getting new tasks.
