Who knows what it was, a simple reboot fixed it. That's gotta be the greatest troubleshooting step of them all.

New windows client out as of the 16th - Download BOINC client software - Linux and mac are also updated too. Team Hardware Canucks and we're doing the Rosetta project to rid the world of diseases.

Hey the upgrade was easy, installed right over the old one. It even picked up the projects where they left off.
I did shut the manager down first though...

Thanks misterd for pointing this out.

Also, thank you DK2 for your input there. I was going to ask if you needed to uninstal.

We really crunch some numbers don't we? By tomorrow we will overtake the French, the Polish and the Christians. For just 14 of us we do pretty good! Go Team

Ok, so I've got my rig running BOINC after yet another another hour and a half session of messing around with the F@H clients I just got frustrated. I managed to get the regular F@H console and the GPU client on the secondary rig, but the PPD are less than satisfactory.

My sig rig is running BOINC (Rosetta@Home) and the secondary is still F@H(GPU on a HD3650 and regular console on the E4500@3.0GHz)

So I'm split right now at least for a while. I hope BOINC can come out with a GPU client.

Welcome to the Team - you'll find that the BOINC client is of the "run and forget" type... quite the opposite from the F@H client.

yea uhm seriously FAH sux. You'd think after the many upgrades it has had that someone would make a better program, alas it isnt to be as BOINC simply owns them as far as clients are concerned

Welcome to the team zlojack!

I looked into F@H but it was quite complicated and I was upgrading for 6 months so had planned to join when I was done. Once I figured I was done for now I discovered BOINC here. It seemed easier to set up so I gave it a shot. You can't get easier than this, sets up and runs without issue.

As a team we just keep climbing and now that you have joined we'll pump out even more results. Now if they would just release a GPU client I'd get my GTS 512 BOINCing along too.

Hey, we have more teamates! Welcome to shadowed and YZFRaven.

If we keep growing like this we will end up curing everything and have to join SETI!

J/K, please don't join SETI. I'm wearing my tinfoil hat and underwear in my tin foil wallpapered room:help: trying to hide from those little grey, butt probing freaks and whole teams of people are actually trying to get their attention!

Just say no to SETI!!!!!

Weird mood today, just ignore me. Except the welcome teamates part.
