Default Nvidia openGL improvements?

I dropped out of folding a while back once GPU WUs started being biased towards the better openGL optimization of AMD cards, but noticed this little nugget from the latest Nvidia driver release notes....

Quote:
Additional Details

http://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-toolkit Supports OpenGL 4.4 for GeForce 400-series and later GPUs. Supports DisplayPort 1.2 for GeForce GTX 600 series GPUs. Supports multiple languages and APIs for GPU computing: CUDA C, CUDA C++, CUDA Fortran, OpenCL, DirectCompute, and Microsoft C++ AMP. Supports single GPU and NVIDIA SLI technology on DirectX 9, DirectX 10, DirectX 11, and OpenGL, including 3-way SLI, Quad SLI, and SLI support on SLI-certified Intel and AMD motherboards.
Is that an improvement over what version they had supported previously? How does Nvidia folding stack up against AMD these days?

I run 327.23 NV drivers. Most cards are 6xx have 2 7XX. Haven't seen any change to speak of. I have seen a lot of 8018 wus lately and they are a P.I.T.A. Terrible on this driver but haven't tested older or newer drivers on them. Maybe someone else has and can enlighten me.

8018 has no QRB where all the real points are. Everyone hates them equally unless you don't pay attention to your PPD.

We don't use OpenGL, and recent nvidia drivers have sort of cripped OpenCL performance.

Are we talking OpenCL or OpenGL here?

OpenCL = Open Compute Language = used for GPU computations in Folding, etc.
OpenGL = Open Graphics Language = Used as a graphics API / middleware

Yeah... my bad. I was confusing the two.
