Well here are my thoughts on reinstalling the client. I do think it helped. Before the new clean install I was hardly breaking100-120 K PPD on the 770, 660ti and a 2700K cpu. As I write this I am seeing 175K PPD on that system. Last night before I went to bed though for a time it read 87000 PPD for the system. I am not sure it was a scientific test I performed. I was a little pissed the 770 was getting about half of a 680 when I knew it should be the same or more. I may have been hasty in reinstalling but it appears to me now that 170-180 K PPD is more like it and more stable PPD.

The 8018's are finally petering out.....thankfully....

I seem to get a steady 115kppd on unit 8900 on a stock TITAN....My 580's are getting 35 kppd each....The 760's are getting 60kppd .... all 8900 units.

I would think that Titan should be doing 150K + PPD as my 770 at the moment is nearly doing 88000 PPD on the 8900 WU's. You do have the beta flag on don't you Braineater

I'm testing that little flag.

edit : This is an XP machine too.....I'll be revamping the settings sometime this weekend (Including the beta flag) , and then waiting for 2 weeks to watch......then we're onto win 7 , I intend to borg this titan so...

Ah yes.

A 'borg' is a folding machine that you don't pay electricity/internet for , but are allowed to use , an example being a work computer that management says "yes you can fold on it".

As opposed to a 'bot' which would be a machine you don't pay electricity for , and '"don't" have permission to fold with. ( frowned upon !)

Another term you might hear is 'boxen' .... That's what the computers is your 'farm' are called.
