My System Specs

Default not sure if this is worth it or not

every once in a while I take a look on ebay for a supermicro ( g34) motherboard in hopes that I can find either a 2p or 4 p so I can run my spicy chips but I cannot afford 400+ cad
well to day I noticed this Supermicro H8QGI F AMD Opteron 6000 G34 Server Motherboard 16CORE 1TB RAM as Is | eBay

it says it has some bent pins now I am not sure if it is worth trying to fix or not anyone have any idea if it is?

If it says it has some bent pins, then I would ask the seller to give you close up shots of the sockets, if it is more than one or two pins and depending how bad, I would probably avoid it. If you break a pin while trying to straighten it you are more than likely screwed.

Check out that 2nd socket up from the bottom. looks like paste on the socket pins. I would avoid that board unless you can get close up shots before buying. Ask if it still has warranty. Usually SM just has 1 year - so it is probably no warranty left.
