My System Specs

Default Confused on appropriate PPD now...

So I'm trying to sort out what I should be expecting in PPD from my system... I'm running a 2600k @ 4.5 and a 670GTX. Using the 7.3.6 client I'm only seeing 23k from my CPU running full, and 27k from my GPU. The CPU calculations seem low to me from everything I've been looking up. I thought I should be at about 35k on the CPU, but then I saw a chart with some people pushing 70k on a 2600k @ 4.5. What should I actually be expecting?

I think I'm starting to piece things together. It seems that they've removed bigadv for anything below 16 cores? Is that right? I've never really gotten the straight of how that works...

Yes, bigadv is 16 cores or more only. Your PPD sounds like it's in the appropriate range.

I'm getting roughly 43K to 50K PPD on a 3570K @ 4.7GHZ and a GTX 680. I also thought this to be low.....

I think the new poster child of GPU computing is the Radeon HD 7000 series and not the GTX 600 series. Also for bigadv these days you need Linux too, I had a 24 thread machine (2 x hexacore Xeons) that never saw a bigadv unit under windows.

My 3930K @ 4.4ghz is currently getting 2491ppd on a a4 running the 6.30 smp client. Can't get anywhere near 50% cpu load. I have googled for hours and cannot find anything to help sort this out.
