I know its a lame excuse, but I was tired of trying to fix the problems I'd get on my lowly PPD machine. So, despite the extreme cold, I am not folding and just sleeping in a quieter room.

I will be back soon to not sure if I wanna GPU or CPU fold but I got a bit of everything.

Edit finally got this set right using only 75% of my CPU seems to make it so nothing goes over 60c and I get meh PPD haha but I'm back

I'm sort of back. I have my 660Ti goin' and am setting up a linux vm for my cpu. should be good for maybe 50k ppd if i go 24/7

hmm I'm only able to get about 15k a day with my i7 and 660 :S thought it would do far better then that :S.

New rads going into my server as well as a custom vram cooler and chipset coolers since all my tools finally made an appearance hope that will get it to drop temps then it can fold all day downstairs to heat our bedroom and the gaming tower can game upstairs:)

Adding a new processor to the farm this evening...should be good for (hopefully) up to 27K PPD... My other processors will have a couple days downtime, but eventually they'll all be back up and running :)

Are you folding on all 4 cores or 8 threads? Latest drivers and V7 client?

just upgraded tonight to a 980x lets see how I fold now :P

UPDATE:

Holy CRAP

Getting 40k+ on my 660 and 980x and cpu set to 80%

That's so little... I think. You should get double of that I think....

I can't give you an accurate guess because I shut my computer off overnight and during the way when I'm not at home, and I'm assuming you fold 24/7. Electricity is way too expensive to run this 24/7.

I got 60-70k with a 4.2GHz 970 and a slightly OC'd GTX680. My 3770k at 4.5GHz with the same GTX680 nets me about 45-55k.
