Anyway, just in case someone was interested in the PPD boost when O/C.

When going from 700MHz clock speed to 829 I get roughly 2.5K ppd more per card.

I also start to get clock skews on anything over 820 on stock voltage.. not bad ;)

When/if they enable speed based bonus points on GPUs you'll see an even better boost to PPD for overclocking.

Nope the 2600k runs full -smp 8 ...That borg does 35k consistently.

The 3930k is only running 2 580's.It should be 3 but that aint werkin right now.I've got the 580 #3 box and the 295+250 box running as separate rigs...And with only 2 video cards I can actually run -smp 12 on the 3930k , so I'll be switching back.

I'm not getting bonuses yet. I just recently got my pass but I should get bonuses soon. Can't wait. Unfortunately my CPU got a huge WU today only worth ~8000 points. It's going to take it 20 hours to run it or so so my PPD on CPU alone went from 16k to 9k. I'm not overly happy about it but hey, these need to be run too!

So true. They all need to be run, and luck of the draw dictates what you will get. Some speedy, some not so speedy WU's. My question is, how do you tell what bonus points you get and where do you find this info? Is it in the client log after the WU is sent back to Stanford? Kinda curious about these bonus's and where you see if you qualify.

Reminds me that the weather has changed and I should get going again. Makes me wish I bought a 3770k instead of 3570k... but yeah, 3570k at about 4.6, then got a 2500k that's good for 4.5 or so to get a case for and put together, and a Q9450 that's around 3.0 since I don't have the time to fine tune it. 9800gtx, 560ti, and maybe a 7970 if it's worth folding on.

The bonus is calculated based on how quickly you complete the WU and is reported by Stanford back to you as soon as the WU is completed.

If you look at the log after a WU is complete you'll be able to see that the WU was successfully uploaded and how many points were awarded for it.
