Wow I keep forgetting about gpu folding. we actually have quite a few members that are folding I am impressed with this.

on a side note I sure wished that there was a dedicated web site that showed folding statistics but also had the option for the folder donater to put there build ( folding build) so that when you clicked on the name of the person it would show what every build or farm they added to it kind of like our specks button and or sig we can add

I'm just getting into it.

Ive got:
3570k at 4.2GHz. Could go higher but it's just not worth it.
2x gtx 480. (Managed to undervolt to .950 stable, the cards only run at 70 degees full load on air with ref. cooler)

I've also got a:
Core 2 Duo E7500 with no graphics card that I'm trying to get into the mix. Gonna try to upgrade it to a quad core and get a foldable GPU in there to score another 12-20k PPD. Not folding with that PC yet.

Just brought a GTX580 online currently running stock speeds for stability testing, but it's sitting at 43c 99% gpu folding under water so I suspect there might be a little bit more headroom..... :)

SMP-4 @ 90% will follow soon on a 3.8G PHII 965.

Does overclocking the video card make a big difference? I can get to ~ 820MHz clock speed from 700 with stock voltage on the 480's. Would it make a huge difference in PPD?

Depends on your definition of what a huge difference would be.
