Same, getting a lot of 8018's and such. Some on the 580's are taking close to 9 hrs for 5757 credits. Seems like the 8057's are few and far between now. Also noticing with the beta a lot of smp WU's are taking a lot longer to complete.

I don't know about you guys but me when I am looking in my stuff I always see 8057 on my GTS 450 and GT430. These 2 combined account for 65k PPD of my production these days, more than the dual Xeon setup!

A 8057 on the GTX580 can be 120K to 150K PPD if I could keep landing those WU's. Seems like they come in spurts. I can get several in a row then none for a half or full day. Had a couple running this morning when I woke up. Not sure right now as at work.

my turn to get crappy GPU WUs. Well I guess that is what I need to aim after selling the Xeon setup : GTX 580

Not sure if the 580's are the way to go. Many have said the PPD with the 600's is pretty good to. Also its only the 8057's that are coughing up the big PPD. I see less PPD on the smp. Getting jobs that are worth 18000 PPD, but take all day or longer to complete. Guess thats the risk with the beta flag.

OCN has posted a nice guide for setting up the new GPU beta units. The important part here is the last step (2nd post in the link) where they've explained how to replace the core to the older version (with the Fermi optimization) so that you can get even higher PPD for non-Keplar GPU's!!! (to the previous post, with this fix, a GTX 580 is definitely the way to go since they will get 220K PPD with this optimization)

nVidia v7 Guide for Folding Beta Project 8057

I don't know if we should make this a sticky in the Folding area... I'll leave that to others to decide.
