V7 does calculate bonus, but which V7 client are you using? It might be an old version that doesn't know Bulldozer exists.

Could be the latest version has removed it, but this is the reporting I get from V7.....

How do I find which version I'm using? Or, are there any options that should be checked to include the bonus?

Instead of messing with the V7's viewer, shouldn't HFM just be able to tell me the PPD? If I toggle On the Bonus PPD calculation, it shows ~12K. Shouldn't that be correct?

The version is the only one on their page. V7.1.52 dated March 20, 2012.

I don't know your type of CPU well enough, but you're better off looking at TPF for comparison.

My V7.1.52 FAHControl seems to include bonus; my Gen 1 Phenom can't get 4k PPD without accounting for bonus...
Did you check your passkey, and has F@H counted you as having completed ten SMP2 workunits? Also note that if you happen to have loaded the CPU with something else and slowed down your folding for a little bit, or put the computer in sleep mode, the V7 client's estimate gets humourously inaccurate.

Hmmmm.....how do I check if my passcode is actually working?

Edit: Looks like the points I got from my last WU was only 216.

12K PPD could be correct for your CPU, depending on the WU. What was the number of the last Work Unit you completed, the one you received 216 points for?

Also, can you post a screen capture of the V7 client you are using?

Count the number of completed WUs (10 minimum), and once you get A3s the bonus kicks in.

If you want to test the chip tpf-wise, and not bother questionning the ppd and the associated bonus, why not use the Folding_for_pscout account and its passkey?
The BGB account can work too (I have both passkeys saved if you need them - shoot me a PM).

edit: for the heck of it I stopped the crunching on my 1090T, and set up SMP using the latest V7 Client (linked by Sugar). 1st WU is a 8049, estimated tpf is 3 mins 18 secs, estimated ppd is 4534.52.
Going to give it a few hours to stabilize itself.

This problem seems to have been fixed with the latest release. My V7 does not do this anymore.
