Yes it will be most interesting to see what happens when it comes time to assign a new work unit... Are you sure it's not more than 20k ppd? with the non-beta version 7 client, TPF 4:03 estimates 20.5k PPD and I know if my computer is idle (i.e. not watching youtube or browsing the web), it estimates as high as 22k PPD on the 8018 WU.

Yeah, mine are typically around 22.5K PPD as reported by the client itself.

I installed the beta version as linked above and it works great with the 680 so far! I did not add the beta flag for the GPU and it's been happily getting 8043, 8044 WUs just shy of 20k PPD. No hassle at all to get it to work :)

It was 20,927 PPD. I cut it off instead of rounding.

Currently working on a 8043 at 18,920 PPD.

Well that's interesting.... since they've been quite clear on not providing beta support to folders who don't belong to the official beta team (doesn't work for me as the first thing they're going to ask is if any of my hardware is OC'd.... ;) ). I wonder if that means that they're ready to start supporting it since it doesn't require the beta tag any more?

Yep 8044 and 8043 are slightly lower in the PPD, but I find the 8044 works a lot nicer with sharing resources on my computer with other programs... a lot less of the freezing/micro stuttering with watching youtube, etc while folding.

Don't forget this version of the F@H is beta... so they probably have you there ;)

Edit 8045 WU and it's still happy to fold, although the PPD is still worse than a 8018.

I pause my folding client while I'm using the system. While it's better than it used to be, they should go to the way boinc does it where it automatically shuts off on keyboard or mouse use.

Hmmm... although 1/2 of the problem is the nvidia drivers (some versions don't cause F@H to lag your computer, others do), I've been running folding non-stop unless I play a computer game and I so little interference :D

While testing the 1090T w/V7 SMP, I started the 660Ti (stock clocks): early ppd shows 19k on a 8018. Pretty nice surprise I must say.

That is rather impressive, pretty much what I was getting w/ a GTX680.
