I did that, but I get to a point where there's an error. Can't remember what it is right now, but I'll try again later. It installs DeinoMPI then asks for some passwords and encryption then when I go to install it, nothing.

That's fine - the install.bat will install MPI. You have to do this once. Then you have to install FAH. Then you launch FAH, setting it up for the first time by the same token.

So I never ended up getting this to work.

I've got the SMP client on my second rig on a Q6700 @ 3.2GHz and it's doing well. Since it's the "family, please don't touch my computer" rig, I'm not doing any VMWare stuff on it.

Meanwhile, I'm trying to get a nice stable 24/7 on my QX9650 on my other rig, which is running the Windows SMP for now. I'm hoping to give the VMWare with Ubuntu method another try once I get stable.

Well, if the QX9650 is folding without errors, then your oc is stable.

It still gave me errrors while priming though...

Anyway, I've got the settings down now, pretty much. just working on the RAM.
