No money in budget for 680 right now..... |
I haven't been able to buy any cards unfortunately. Block have been here for a week w/ no cards to install them too. |
I've been expecting, and waiting for this. It's folding fine (I think?). Numbers to follow - 1st WU is a 7640. I need to configure HFM to add the Client for ppd. edit: HFM is configured, but I remember reading that the Client starts the GPU, but no actual work is being done. Working on it. |
Well, just as I expected; GPU is recognized, but stays still at 0%. One step in the right direction, I guess? But we still have to wait. |
I don't suppose you have a link to the fah forums for discussions on this do you? I'm currently doing a search, but all that I've found so far has been an old thread discussing the fact that the new architecture probably won't fold all that well. Has anybody had a 680 folding yet? edit: I'm guessing this is the best they've got so far? Folding Forum • View topic - NVIDIA's Kepler (GK104)... Graphics :) ... FAH :( |
Yup, it is. With the V7 Client. Installed the V6 Client, and it is not folding. Guess we'll wait some more. |
There is this one too sswilson: Folding Forum • View topic - GPUs.txt |
Adding the GPU.txt list to the data folder causes my GTX 680 to work but because this is not an optimized client I am only getting about 500 points every 3-4 hours. I have an EVGA GTX 680. |
