Nvidia beta 295.51 drivers = bad for folding?
I just tried installing these drivers last week and it kept putting my GPU cores to sleep and not working properly.... Completely ruined folding and my points for me.

Just wanted to give a heads up as I've heard a few other people complain about these drivers too.

usually latest drivers are not good for folding they address gaming issues first.. Maybe wait for another iteration of 295.xx drivers, where xx>51. Best drivers that I worked with (and by that I mean the gpu doing the folding is performing other tasks also, like browsing, video) are 260.99 which support everything from GTX400 series and backwards. I have no (good) experience with series gtx500, except when I asked SKYMTL he told me the GTX550Ti was folding fine with the release drivers, I guess that was 267 and something. Might want to try that.

I rarely install new drivers if my rigs are folding properly. But when I do, I usually wait a few days first (to let the guinea pigs try them), and then i do a wipe of the old drivers, and I also do an uninstall of any GPU overclocking/monitoring software, and do a reinstall.

Tried the newer ones, ended up rolling back to 275.33 to get my gpu folding properly. The newer drivers locked up my system as well.....:blarg:

Those drivers killed my GPU folding, I kept getting errors. It was time for a break anyways.

290.53 seems to be working pretty good for me with dual 570s. I don't keep track of my PPD, so I don't know if they have any impact on that, but they run fine and rarely have that stupid glitch where my screen "freezes" and both gpus stop folding and sit around 30-40% usage for a long time. The said issue only pops up when one starts a new WU fyi, but it doesn't happen as often with these as it did with the last set of WHQL drivers.

I got skyrim and installed a bunch of mods and set my settings to try to max the graphics (not that you can make up for a freaking lack of polygons....), so I need the boost from the drivers to play that game without lag.
