Default heads up on 6903 6904

Folding Forum • View topic - Merged problems with projects 6903/6904

I just wasted 2 days folding one 6903 and 6904 (to 45% and 55%) just to find out that it's a malformed WU..

i would have made the deadline but the unit would not upload for credits, so I killed it.. now waiting to see if I pick up a "normal" working unit!

Yup, I had to kill a few of them before finally getting a 6904 that was not an issue.

24MB download is 6901, 57MB is completely normal for 6903/4.

This is what you have to watch out for. The # of steps should be 250,000.

My last one was 19,000,000 steps. Stop the client, delete the Work folder and the machinedependant.dat file, and start it up again. Rince / repeat until you get a proper WU.
