Well it definitely seems that each instance can vary significantly in processing power. One of mine isn't going to finish the P6903 before the deadline, while the others can no problem.

It appears the cloud consists of shared resources, e.g., offering 72 vCPU slots on a 24-thread node.

Well looks like I got accepted, just need some spare time this evening, or this weekend to look through the tutorials you guys have linked and set up to fold.

I did not require a credit card to sign up, though I did it through the original link and not the twitter feed. It would be interesting to see what the monthly fee is, though I bet it would still be cheaper to cloud fold then to do so at home due in part to electricity bills and well building machines that can even come close to the same amount of ppd.

Up and running using Putty under windows, only the first instance for the moment, grabbed a Project 7501 with tpf 3'22" should be a bit over 14k ppd, this one alone which is more than my 2P folder which does around 11-12k PPD

Hopefully I'll be able to set up mine tonight. I was a bit surprised that I got in, I usually am too late to the party on these types of things.

got second instance up and running. This is much easier with SSH under Windows, many thanks to SwingOp3! Second instance got a 7136 Project and according to tpf is a bit like 28k ppd!

Hey MARSTG, are you getting those ppd estimates using a smp calculator or have you found a way to monitor using HFM.net?
