fyi 4p bigadv mc performance #s
I was posting these #s on the "cpu choices" thread, I figure it makes more sense to fork a new thread to track..

results after this will assume to be using kraken wrapper and numa, since it yields the most ppd.. if there is any other tweaks it will be noted

You can also increase the "verbosity" of your client... not sure which client it uses, but I'm using the beta shell for GPU & CPU clients, and the log from it reports "estimated points" when the results from an SMP WU finishes uploading.
HFM has a column that shows the estimated credit to be awarded for the unit being folded, which may includes the SMP bonus.
HFM is great if you have a lot of clients.. since I only have two folders (the 4p g34 and the 2p xeon) I know which one contributed the unit.. and I can look up the points awarded on the stats sites
Wow, I cant recall if I set NUMA on or not, havent touched the bios on King Quad since I set it up in june..... something the play with when I get home. Any quick clues as to where in the bios it is?
Advanced memory settings.
I should come up with some witty name for the two quads I am building..
